April 2026 Numbers

If anyone reads the journal, they will know 1 in 4 families in Lambton County can't afford to feed themselves or their families. The need for our program is growing, and unfortunately, donors and funding aren't keeping pace.

This month, we have had to make the hard decision to stop providing juice boxes to the children on our list so they have the snacks they need for school.

Like those within our community, having to choose between what is a "need" and a "want" has to be done within our own program and continue to support those in need to the best of our abilities, sometimes things have to be set aside, for now!
