February Numbers

Trying to project numbers for an upcoming month isn't easy. All we can really do is take the numbers from the previous month and hope it's enough.

In February, we are projected to hand out:

132 school snack bags are to be distributed to children (as long as no more children are added to the list)

200 hygiene bags

400 unhoused snack bags.

What does it take to fill those bags?

64 reusable bags (We currently have an ample supply)

660 juice boxes

1,320 kids snacks

1,600 unhoused snacks

1000 mini snack bags

600 med freezer bags

132 large freezer bags

200 toothbrushes

200 mini toothpastes

200 combs

200 mini soap bars (Or we divide the soap bars into 4 and bag them)

200 mini razers 

200 mini shampoos (We take large bottles of shampoo and put them in small bottles)

400 flossers

400 hair ties

400 Bobby Pins

800 band aids

400 hot hands

800 wet wipes

200 hand sanitizers (We take the large bottles and put them in small bottles)

200 mini bags of TP (We use large rolls and put them into small bags)

What do those numbers mean? It means we need the community's help to keep things going. We have a couple of amazing donors who drop items off, but we can't do it alone. Keeping this growing and supporting our community members who are in need requires everyone!
